User>Library>Preferences>com.Sibelius (2 present) I reinstalled Sibelius 7 already a couple of times, after deleting the following files: (I already extensively documented the errors at The score played back without error the first time I tried it, however something went wrong during the copying over of plug-ins and it's not worked ever since. I too have experienced the problem with Sibelius being unable to load certain samples for an existing score. I'm climbing into this thread because it is more recent and appears to be related to my issue, although mine is Mac based. This is an example of the error message I get, for reference: I have sent the error logs in to Avid already following said crash. In addition, if I click okay too swiftly on the errors as they come up, Sibelius will crash. The errors always begin with the tuba and only when using Sibelius 7 sounds. Switching to Sibelius 6 Essentials and then back to Sibelius 7 sounds doesn't help. Playback works fine for loaded instruments. Starting from the tuba and going all the way through percussion and the strings. It's a full orchestral score and everything up to the tuba works just fine, but as soon as the loading progress bar reaches partway through, Sibelius throws errors as stated in the thread title with a reference to the patch in question and a suggestion to check my installation. When loading up a score I was working on just the other day in 7.01 with no problems (it was created in Sibelius 7), the program is suddenly unable to load the patches for the instruments midway through my score.
